Yes, it's true, Nick got two new tattoos. One is on his shoulder/arm, and the other is on his leg. I have pictures, but I need to get consent before I use them. The one on his right arm is a large sun (like the one he always said he would get because his father has one too -- but way back when, he said he would get it on his back), and the one on his right leg ... it's hard to tell, but it's a big sky blue blob with different shades of blue within it. Some people say it's a shark. The pic that I have doesn't do a shark justice. When I find out what it REALLY is, I'll tell you guys.

As you all know by now, first week sales totalled 1.6 million in the U.S., and 5 million worldwide. Even though they didn't beat N Sync's record, it was still an amazing feat.

I'm sorry I haven't updated for so long ... I went on vacation for over two months in a place with little internet access.

First things first. For those of you who do not know, the new Backstreet album has been completed and is expected to be in stores on NOVEMBER 21.

And probably all of you know that our boys are doing a campaign for Burger King. Get your butt down to the local BK and score yourself some BSB stuff.

I'm sad (and happy) to say that this weekend (yesterday, to be exact), Brian got hitched ... to the beautiful Leighanne. For those of you who cared deeply for Brian and loved him so, I reach my heart to you. But I am happy for Brian, and I hope the world is as well. Congrats!!!

On June 2nd, Nick had a long letter on his official website explaining the events that have taken place in the last few months. It explained several things about his girlfriend and the situation between him and his mother and family. If you would like to see the actual copy of the FAQ, click here.

Also, last night, I was channel surfing and came upon Before They Were ... on VH1, with clips of Nick as a young boy, singing and speaking.

There was a special on Nick and his house not long ago on Tampa's ABC. I don't know if you can still see the clips on the actual site, but other Nick sites may have the clips.

There isn't much to report on except that Nick was one of People's 50 Most Beautiful People. Once I find the article, I'll have it on the site.

Also, there was the BSB: One on One thing on MTV after the premiere of The One. Nick admitted that the "scandal" with Mandy and not showing up for Christmas in CA was true. He said that it was more of a business thing, and not his girlfriend.

Geez ... I really haven't updated for a long time. A REALLY long time.

So ... not much is new except Nick got his hair chopped off. Mandy and Nick got back together a long while ago. There's been a rumor going around that the new Backstreet Boys CD will be out in September, but we all know that Millennium or whatever it would've been called was supposed to be out in October '98, then January '99, but it came out in May '99. Just know that, yes, a new CD is coming. The next Backstreet Boys single, as ALL of you probably already know, is going to be The One.

Sorry to all of you ... I haven't updated in a really long time. A lot has been happening ... (with Nick)

Mandy ... here's the deal ... Nick and Mandy broke up because she was physically abusive towards him and his fans (us). The last straw (says Nick) was when she slapped his best friend Brent for listening to a Backstreet Boy song. When they broke it off, Mandy stole the big screen television Jive Records gave to Nick. This is official because it was found on The Official Carter Family Website. This is what Nick has to say about the whole thing:

"I have had one serious relationship in the last year with a girl named Mandy (not Mandy Moore as many have suspected.) Many of you have seen pictures of her in magazines. Mandy and I broke up several weeks ago. The breaking point with Mandy was when she slapped my best friend Brent for listening to a BSB song. Mandy was also physically abusive to me and my fans; she just couldn't handle it. It really turned ugly after I helped her sign a record contract and she started recording her first album. When we broke up, she and her family took my big screen TV -- a gift from Jive Records. She has my regards, my pity, my love but also my goodbye."

I have heard rumors about Mandy stalking Nick around. I heard that Grandma Jean (one of Nick's grandmothers) has a newsletter and she said that Nick has to travel with his father and his friends so Mandy cannot get to him. Mandy is supposedly stalking Nick along with her mother.
